In this video you see where the best places are to put the Fiducial screws to help the lab to align the models

Before any surgical procedures, Take a detailed set of pre-operative scans. Upper, Lower, and Bite scans, which are essential in capturing the patient's natural vertical dimension (VDO) and aesthetic starting point. By scanning landmarks and using fixed markers ( Fiducial Screws ), we ensure that the new smile aligns perfectly with the planned outcomes.

The biggest challenge in full-arch surgery is losing your Patient's bite, once the teeth are removed.
We solve this by using Fiducial Screws:
The Process: Small, temporary screws are placed in the stable bone (apical to the extraction sites) before surgery.
The Function: These screws act as permanent digital "anchors" that appear in both the pre-op scan and the post-implant scan.
The Benefit: They allow the lab to "stack" the scans with 100% accuracy, ensuring the final bridge matches the planned bite perfectly, even after the natural teeth are gone.

We maintain the patient’s bite using a shell denture relining protocol. Before extracting the teeth, we record and verify the bite, placing reference marks on the face and chin using clear tape to ensure they remain visible throughout the procedure.
A shell denture is fabricated with adequate relief to accommodate the healing cap scanbodies over the multi-unit abutments. By relining this denture over the multi-units, we preserve the vertical dimension and capture the exact position of the H caps within the alginate.
The relined denture is then scanned along with the opposing arch and bite registration, providing all the necessary digital information for design.
A photogrammetry camera is essential to accurately capture and align the precise 3D position of the implants.
"In this video, we demonstrate how EZ All on X utilizes fiducial screws as fixed digital landmarks. When teeth are extracted, the 'GPS' of the mouth is lost. By placing three fiducial screws in a triangular formation, we create a stable geometric plane. This 'Triangle Alignment' allows CAD software to overlay the pre-surgical bite onto the post-surgical implant positions with micron-level accuracy. No more guessing the VDO—just predictable, same-day results."
In this video, Koorosh Aghakhani demonstrates the process of achieving accurate bite registration in All-on-X implant cases. Learn how to use Good Fit Dentures or a patient's existing denture for edentulous cases. Additionally, Koorosh shows the step-by-step process of scanning and utilizing the EZ Scanbody H-Cap to ensure a precise fit and accurate registration."
